School, Is it worth it?

So lately Ive been super busy and haven't been able to post anything. Graduating early isn't as easy as it looks. With my SSE (Senior Seminar Experience) Presentation day arriving fast (as in this Thursday which is also my birthday) Iv been working long and hard on my project.

So Id like to know what you all would like me to start posting about. Ive been collecting my thoughts while Ive been away and have come up with a few things that I will be posting about soon. But id like to hear what the folks out there on the Internet would like to hear about. So please post a comment or email me at jjonesdesign@gmail.com and let me know what you'd like to hear about.

Also, note that we now have a new Affiliate, this is a personal friend, who i believe does some great reviews for video games, so check out Mr.technicians blog!

Mtv - Korn and Amy Lee

Freak on a leash, written and sang by Korn them self's. This song is well known, well played, and never gets old. With recent problems amongst korn and loosing members the band has been running slim.

Was this an attempt to tell the world that "Hey, where still around and kicking" or is this a cry for fans.

Personally, I think this was a great idea, and it worked out for the better. Lets just hope Amy Lee doesn't join the band in place of the loss of the other members. Shes doesn't have quite the same sound as Head, nor the same style.

If you'd like to see MTV's live recorded video visit this link and click "watch videos"

Getting a job

OK, So lately Ive been looking around at billions upon billions of jobs, give or take a few billion. Ive come to notice one thing about trying to get a job. Every freaking job you apply for basically wants you to have experience before they will hire you. This leads me to this thought.

How are you going to get experience working, If every job is requiring you to have experience to work.

This makes NO sense whats so ever. I can understand if someone wants you to have some experience for being a manager or something of that sort, But in all honesty does a person who is going to stock shelf's relay need experience?

I think the whole working thing/Getting a job thing is way to complicated, people take it way to serious, and make it so much harder then it needs to be.

Havn't posted in a bit

Well if anyone has noticed I haven't posted anything for a while now. This is because of a crazy thing called a vehicle. No one ever knew this wonderful invention could cause SO MUCH trouble.

I was standing there looking into the opened hood of my brother Competition sky blue 2 door Jetta/GTI. Replacing the basic parts, spark plugs, wires, battery, distributor cap, etc. I realized, With all these plugs wires and every other doodad, Why don't they last longer?

THEN I realized, we are doing all this work to prepare for the future, getting better computers, high tech T.V's stuff of that sort. Why can't we figure out something less complicated like, a better motor? Why for some reason can't we take the things we have now, make them better and last longer.

I'm not against the growth of technology, but I think we should take the time to understand what we have now, and make the performance of it better.

Google Analytics

So if none of you noticed, during the loading stage of this page at the bottom left you will probably see something like "connecting to google.analytics.com" or something of that sort. That is because I have a code in on my page (which you can't see, its just a code that tells some information to my Analytics account).

What does this do for me?

I run two websites, This blog, and my peon server which is affiliated. I am able to go into my account and setup two sites, this one, and peon server. Putting each code in the corresponding websites. When i log in I choose which site I want to check, and by clicking on the name of the site, pulls up a page which shows statistics about the site. How many visits, a pie chart showing where they came from (IE. Google.com, your site.com my site.com) each having their own peace of pie showing %'s.

This is a great thing to have when you are trying to figure out how many hits you get per day and so on.

If you own a website, or even multiple websites, I highly recommend this tool for you. Its great and causes practically no lag in your website.
