Stephen kings - The mist

we have all been stuck in mist one time or another, the hardest time ive had with mist is while driving down a dark road, slowing down to 20mph and almost hitting a dear! crazy huh?

But what freaks me out is the fact that the movie "The Mist" could have been my experience! I could have been driving and BLOW! scary movie comes to life :P.

don't forget to check out the movie trailer The Mist by Stephen King.

I've been waiting for this book to become a movie! it's going to be creepy and fun!

I can't wait to go to the theaters and see this movie, it's going to make me freaked out every time there is mist out. Well actually there has been mist were i live every night. WOW! this movie is just going to make it harder to go out side when there is mist covering the ground!

also, david drayton. a great actor for this movie! plays a great roll too. The cast in the movie makes me think that it just might be the movie of the year. there are some new faces in the movie, but hopefully their jobs as back up actors will be good enough to make this movie amazing!

math tutors, changing you scores

When I was growing up it was tough for me going through school. I had some problems learning as fast as the other kids did. One thing that I stuggeled in was math. Learning early on about my problem learning math I decided to get help from Math Tutors.

After going through high school and excelling in advanced math classes, I'm really glad that I got some help from Math Tutors through my younger years, and suggest that if you or your children have any problems with math, to get one and try it for your self.

*sighs*

Doing these blog deals are keeping me awake! you all better be reading them!

reading tutors do help

I know by personal experiance from growing up that some schools methods of teaching kids to read just don't work. Growing up I had a lot of trouble with reading, and had some pretty slow reading speeds. With a little help from a Reading Tutors I was able to increase my words per minute, and even helped developed methods of reading that I've never tryed before.

If you or anyone you know has problems reading, I highly suggest taking a look into getting a Reading Tutor of your own.

its late :(

Anyone reading this online? sheesh bout time for bed

want to affiliate?

So I have a blog that I run were I just give some thoughts, post ad's for customers. blog with my opinions for customers, and a lot of other things.

If you own a website, you know how important it is to have traffic, and a good webstat. you can achieve this in a few ways.

The first way is general traffic. The more people who search web engines and click your website, The better rating your website gets.

The second way, IS to have Keywords placed around your website for search engines to find. Such as "3d studio max" or "making cake" or "Win free money" are all things that search engines can pickup when people are searching for those topics, or topics that are alike it.

The third and best way to get more traffic to your website is through affiliations. an affiliation is basically when two people who own websites agree to place each others links to each others websites on their own website. This is the most effective form because when a search engine sees you have other people linking to your site, it figures that your website is more important then those other websites, which it then places your website in the top portion of search results.

What id like, is that if anyone reading this has their own website, I'd like to make an affiliate connection.

So if you wan't to increase your search engine rank, simply add a link to my website, and message me when your done. I'll go make sure its there and put your link on my website.

if you'd like to do this, send me a link to your site after placing a link to my site on yours.

I also have room for paid advertisements if someone wants that option. As you can tell I already have some on my site, but there is always room to replace, and remove other ad's for people I know.

please check out my site, and link to it if you'd like me to do the same.

Well we started last night

Last night was the start of a work in progress MMORPG that my friend randy and I are working on building. Starting at about 5pm we started talking about everything and gathering ideas for our game.

Randy also told me that in order to get this game done right, Id have to throw out my favorite program. Blender. In order to get done what we need to get done I needed to pick up a new tool and learn it from the start.

Like a child learning to walk for the first time, I struggled through at the time what looked like the most extreme interface Ive seen yet. But after going through some basic things with randy, I started to feel the same love that I had for blender all this time. When it comes down to it, I think that 3Dstudio Max is going to be a better tool for me to use anyway. The amount of features this program has is amazing.

so today we start working on a lot of little details and some more animations. Right now we have made our basic 3d environment. thanks to randy that is. When it comes to coding, I'm no where near his level. But I think in good time I might just try and pickup some of the things he's been showing me.

So for now, I'm not going to give out to much information about the game just yet. But as soon as we have something to show, Ill be sure to post plenty of work,

A serious look at whats going on

What I am about to talk about in this bulletin is something I have found over some time of research and documentation. Last night I

was introduced to a person who was very well informed about the information I am about to talk about. If in any way shape or form

you (the reader) feel that this information is false, please do let me know.

On sept. 11 the united states government and local law enforcement agency's (including norad) were performing "TOPOFF" operations

to simulate incidences such as "Hijacked planes" and even "Planes flying into the north twin tower". Such operations were to be

played out as if they really happened, although they "never" did, to see how well we were able to react to these types of attacks.

A few hours into this "Test" the first twin tower was struck by a "commercial jet airliner". Moments after this happened the

"TOPOFF Test" at exactly 8:51am the drill went live. Meaning the drill that they were practicing, was taking place.

Now lets take a look at July 7, 2005 london. With the help of of government, and local emergency responders were in the middle of a large

scare exercise where in the scenario involved bombs going off in buses and subway tunnels. Remarkably, mysteriously,

coincidentally, again at 8:51am the drill "goes live" and it really happened.

Now that you have been informed on these two events, lets take a look into our past. what started all of our wars? The sinking of

an American cruise liner, sent us into the first world war. Pearl harbor sent us into the second world war. both of these events

were very skeptical. also both events were known to have been coming, but the threats were ignored.

Now at this point who ever is still reading this might look at me and say I am crazy. But the evidence is there, the person who

opens their eyes to it is the one who will come out on top.

Let me bring you to the point of my writing this......

Operation Vigilant Guardian: October 16th, 2007 will be the second day of "TOPOFF 4" a massive full scale exercise involving the

participation of multiple government and emergency management agencies (fema, the fbi, cia, national guard, the united states

military, NORAD, the NRO, Department of defense (DoD), and many other privately owned agencies.

so in the history of all of our wars, an event, usually played out first as a "Real Time simulation" have turned into a "live

drill". Personally I see no reason to beleive that "TOPOFF 4" which is taking place in, Portland oregon, and Pheonix AZ, is yet

another attempt at making the repeating pattern in history the same.

Monday the 15 is the starting of the "TOPOFF 4" full scale exercise.

Here are some other interesting things to keep in mind: There was an "accidental" transportation of 6 nuclear warheads from Minot

Air Force Base (AFB) in north Dakota over the entire mid-section of the country to barksdale AFB (air force base) on august 30th,

2007. what you probaly didn't hear about was the fact that the press stated that 6 warheads left the base, but only 5 warheads

arrived. The press later recalled their comments, stating that they made the mistake, and only "5" warheads were shipped.

What is even more interesting about this, is all the of servicemen what were apart of this transportation mysteriously died in

"accidents" all within a two week period of time following their involvement. The one death that sticks out the most though is an

"accident" that one of the servicemen died in. He was found dead in SW Washington. The man lived in Florida.

In all, from original reports, 6 warheads left, 5 arrived, and now all Servicemen associated with this incident have "accidentally"

died, all within a 2 weeks period of time.

right now if you are still reading, that means you are interested in what I have to say, and are trying to figure out exactly whats

going on. But before I make my statement clear, let me give you on more part to this whole bit.

New Orleans is the home of one of the united states biggest natural disasters. The one part that catches my eye the most is that

fact that the United states government took more time to arrive and "help out" then A privately owned police force. These

contracted "police" were sent down to new Orleans with very short notice, and without nearly ANY press coverage.

(Lets remember before I continue that bush wrote into federal law "NSPD-51" (national security presidential directive #51) which

stats the in the time of a national emergency, the president can declare himself a "Dictator" at which point his term as president

becomes endless, along with anything he says to be done, must be done. Or even the fact that anything he finds necessary for

national security becomes law. Lets also note that this gives the police force the ability to declare someone as an "Enemy

Combatant" which completely eliminates "Habeas Corpus" which is the right to know what you are being held for, and you loose every

right.)

The worst part about this is what they were there to do. Many people welcomed them with open doors. Because they thought they were

there to help. But really, these men were sent to break into homes, and confiscate all weapons that the public might own. This

privately owned "police" force was given permission by the government to declare a state of "National Security" removing every

right of the people living down there. Anyone who refused to give up their right to bare arms was to be considered an "Enemy

Combatant"

You may have heard about the riots that had accord in the area of new Orleans. But what you might not know is the reason that

people were shooting "innocent Civilians From Moving Vehicles" These were not people murdering innocent people, they were Americans

defending their rights, and even their life's.

But why would our government do this you might ask? They knew this was going to happen, and instead of spending all the money to

prepare for the flood, they found it cheaper to wait for it to happen, and clean up the mess by hiring a private company to take

care of it all. Also, don't forget, the media is owned by high standing government officials. Thats why you have not heard about

most of these incidents.

You may be wondering were I have been getting this information, I can tell you that a lot of it has come from some very

controversial places. such as "loose change" and "Zeitgeist", but even some of this information has been taken from official

websites. I will do my best to site as many of my sources as I can, without harming anyone.

What do I do now? What do you do now? What do I beleive? What should you beleive?

This is all up to you, I strongly beleive that something bad is going to happen. I am in no way saying that this "bad thing" is

coming from me, or anyone I know, or anything of that sort, but you can call it a gut feeling provided by the evidence Ive seen. I

will be doing everything In my power to be out of the city before Tuesday, What you do, is up to you.

The following are all the resources I can provide, Under no circumstances am I affiliated, nor have I published any of these

documents. I have merely taken all of the evidence and placed them in one article.

SOURCES:

Paper document that you will not find on line, This document is hand transfered. its name is "Controversial Concerns" Written by an

"anonymous" writer who worked for a government agencie located in Portland Oregon.

Another one of my big references is the full length documentary called "ZeitGeist" which can be found at http://zeitgeistmovie.com/

another one of my sources is "Loose Change" a Documentary on the 9/11 conspiracy. That can be found on almost any video site:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=1Yx9NRX37SM

Also some of my sources are from personal conversations, which involve talking about actual facts with other well informed persons.

You will either Think I'm absolutely crazy, Or take this evidence to warning.

In the end, Id rather look foolish for leaving town, then making the mistake of staying. Either way, good luck to you all.

We need great prices!

Ive been looking around to try and find a place that would allow me to get some great prices on things like hotels, and things of that sort. During my adventure to find the cheapest place, but while keep the quality I found this great website.

The one thing I loved most about their site, was their easy to use, and great pricing on Hotel Reservations. I was amazed on how quick, and wow... how cheap they were.

After looking around just playing with their website, I started to see some things that I didn't notice before. Not only do they have great and competitive prices on hotels, they also have great prices on motels, resorts, and vacation rentals. How often can you find a great website with all these options? Well thats just it, NEVER!

But now, thanks to www.hotelreservations.com there is one place to go to get all the discounts and great service that you need, to plan a stress free and a joyful vacation!

Theres one more thing That I don't want to forget, If you are planning on traveling out side of the united states, GREAT! they even have the resources to help you plan your trip, even if it is out side of the U.S. So next time you are going up north to Canada to see aunt Martha, swing by www.hotelreservations.com and check out the prices on places to stay, You will love having the extra money you save from them in your pocket!

bid to win prizes!

While looking around the internet I found something that caught my eye. I believe it will grab your attention too!

So let me ask you this, if you could spend absolutely NO Money and get 2000$'s just for having some fun by placing pretend bids? who wouldn't!.

All you have to do is place your smallest bid, maybe a penny maybe 2000$ (but remember, if you win, you still pay nothing) and then wait to see what you have won! how easy is that.

So lets take a look at this 2000$ dollars i was looking at. http://www.bid4prizes.com/Service/bidnow.aspx?code=575&Keyword=DXCASH&ProductName=$2,000%20Holiday%20Cash&BidValue=?CID=542

all you have to do is place a bid, and you might win! its great.

but, don't forget, your goal is to place the lowest bid so go and make your bid right now!

Gas prices....

Gas prices these days. What the hell is this? Three months ago gas was around $2.30 per gallon, now it's $3.28 a gallon. Whats next? $10.50? Well thats just great, why don't we just sit here and wait for gas prices to sky rocket. Then what are we going to be doing, Walking? Certainly no one will be driving with gas prices that high, we might as well be chained to a wall.

Of course thats just my opinion.

My essay on cultural imperialism

The following is the Essay I wrote for my College course, Current Issues.

URL to article: http://www.aynrand.org

This article talks a lot about the threat of terrorism, and how the world will not being able to find peace by sticking to the ways we have now. It talks heavily about "cultural imperialism". The voluntarily acceptance in changes in ideas, art, and entertainment produced in civilized countries.

When reading this article is was shocked by the way they worded their meanings. A lot of these things would have to happen for the world to be at peace. But by changing every society to accept one stance is impossible. Everyone in the world has their own ideas and their own stances. What shocked me was when they brought up “voluntary persuasion “. Volunteering for something means that you are not brought over by any other forces of persuasion. Yet the meaning of persuasion is to be convinced by some outstanding force that effects your decision. To me, voluntary persuasion is impossible. Persuasion over powers voluntarism.

People stand up for the wrong arguments

Ok, So today I had an epiphany that started when I got my first couple of calls today at work. I'll explain.

The average volume of the calls we receive at work (Verizon Wirless) are orintaed around people who are either confused about their bills, Don't agree with their charges, Or are calling to complain about the 3.50 charge that their daughter got from texting her friend.

But when they question their daughter, she denies ever doing it. So the customer calls in and complains about the charges, stating that since her daughter says "She Did Not Do It" Our multi billion dollar billing system is wrong.

This particular phone call consisted of a few stages. The first stage consisting of the 5 minute intro where I introduce my self as an employee of Verizon Wireless, and ask what the problem is, while pulling up account information and verifying security codes. The second part which in this case consisted of about 30 minutes, was nothing more then me holding my tounge while the customer raises their voice and uses abusive language while they explain that my billing system is wrong.

After apologizing for my company, explained the situation, and going through the 3rd and final stage of explaining for another 15 minutes that these charges are valid, and will not be credited to the account, The customer insists of stating their opinion on the company, and drags the 15 minutes to another 25. While the customer tells me I can put the company in places of my body where it is not suppose to be, and demanding that I fix the billing system because it has problems and does nothing but "Takes advantage of the American people"

This brings me to my reason for typing here today. People will spend roughly two hours of their day to call me up and complain about a 3.50 charge from a company who they signed a contract with, while calling them someone who "Takes advantage of the American people". But when it comes to more important things, like being taken advantage of by the government, or by gas companys, or by other parts of the world that have more meaning then a wireless cell phone company, They don't do shit about it.

Are people these days to afraid to stand up for bigger and better things? Is it easier for them to take their anger from the real world, out on a customer rep. Are they too afraid to take the same rebellion of 3.50, and turn it into something more productive like fixing gas prices, World hunger, or even our corrupt government? Verizon wireless can't ruin your life, So why be scared of the company?

People are strong enough to complain about their wireless service, which realy does not effect their lifes. But when it comes to more important things, like economy, and out government. They hide in their homes in fear, and take what they are given. They eat from the hands of our government, and when they get slapped by it, do nothing but complain behind their backs.

It's time people. Take a step forward for out nation. Stop fearing that which runs your life. Stop living in fear, and stand up for your self. Stop blaming other people for the real problems of this world. Fucking do something about it.

Virginia Tech shooting - Games being blamed

OK ok ok. so let me take a brief breather here *sighs*

FUCK THIS RETARD. who the hell is this guy to talk about video games. He's a stiff neck bitch. Ok get this, This guy is blaming one of my favorite games, Counter-strike for the reason this guy shot people at Virginia tech.

Take a look at this video that someone took from TV. It's not the best quality but the audio says it all.

Before I was even done watching this video, I was already pissed off and steaming to my fullest. this kind of propaganda pisses me off more then anything else in the world. A game does not create violence. It's lack of other things which cause anger, hatred, and stupidity.

The person in this video mentions something along these lines; "The shooters heart rate never raised above 60 bpm, this can only be achieved by doing these things before. He is able to do this because video games have trained him to do so" He didn't say those exact words, but thats what he says in a shorted version. This guy is stupid, The reason this kid was able to kill people like he did was because HE IS FUCKING MENTAL!!! thats all there is too it.

Even prof. trained marines and people of that training still rise in heart rate when shooting a gun. Even during training a person shooting a gun gets their heart rate about 60.

This guy drives me crazy, I wish they would stop blaming video games (and entertainment in general) on the problems of the world. Have you ever thought about our government? Or the parents? Or shit, maybe that he's just a fucking mental case?

Really people, Grow up. Take blame for stuff every now and then. Stop blaming things like video games because it's the easiest target.

Comments? Questions? are you as pissed about this as me? fucking people who think they know whats going on in life, when they can't even look past a video game for real problems.

I just also have to say I was led to this site http://www.thelastboss.com/post.phtml?pk=2659 by a friend. I did get this story from here. So I am going to give them credit for bringing this up.

Big Corporations remind me of Higschoolers

So Ive been recently told about a little issue that AOL has been having with a small group of people who have created a program that allows the combination of AIM,Yahoo,Msn,Jabber, and a few other chat messengers, All in one single program.

The group of developers created this application and named it "Gaim" While this stood for "GTK + AOL Instant Messenger" there is where my point leads me to. Although this name closely resembles the name "AIM" the application "Gaim" was created before AOL ever started calling their service "AIM".

Big Corporations remind me of High school students. They nag, complain, and do anything to make someone else's life a living hell. I support open source developing, and in doing so beleive that just because a name is like another, Doesn't mean they are trying to steal your work.

How often do you go to a computer store and see off brand products using things like "I " when they have absolutely no relevance to APPLE. They are merely item's for the product they put out called "IPOD" This is nothing different from this situation. AOL put out a product called "AOL Instant Messegner". "Gaim" is a off brand of "AIM".

Do you catch my drift here? Not only was "Gaim" around before the name "AIM" but "Gaim" is an open source project. Which means they the developers are not making anymoney from people using the product.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force - an arrest

If you read the artical http://wbztv.com/topstories/local_story_031135507.html at this site you will see how obserd our country is getting.

"(WBZ) BOSTON Boston police say they have made in arrest in connection to the suspicious device scare that turned out to be a marketing ploy for a television cartoon. The Peter Berdvosky was arrested in Arlington Wednesday night and charged under a recently enacted statute making it a crime to place a hoax device that results in panic.

The scare forced bomb units to scramble across Boston all day. The "devices" were actually magnetic lights which resemble a character on the show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", on Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network."

This just gives me more of a reason to watch their show, and go see the movie

Happy today day!

Well I hope everyone is having a good day so far.

If anyone is eating dinner with their family, have fun and enjoy your time!

Always remember, That no matter whats going on in the world there is always one person who loves you more then life its self!

So enjoy your day, and have a good time with family and friends!

Im an American

I got a serious statement for you all to think about. here it is:

We go to war, We fight, We die, We go in debt. All for what? What makes the small piece of land it took 100 American soldiers to take, So special.

If we spent as much time figuring out how to prevent war, as the average American spent sitting on their ass watching T.V. We would be so much better off.

God bless our troupes, and if they must die, Die in honor. Forget about the land, Forget about the oil. The truth is Americans are dieing for us. So take a moment out of each day, sit in a minute or two in complete silence, and thank them for what they do. Even though they may not hear you, you still ow it to them.

Please pass this on, Because I beleive that every troupe deserves a moment of love, thanks, and silence.

God Bless America and her troupes.

Big Money Opps!

With the growing world of blogs there have been some great ways to make money. The most common being advertisements. Now there has been a new way for bloggers to make money, and fast.

Payperpost is a bloggers resource to blog about topics for money. After getting approved a person can choose from hundreds of topics, and post about them. All while getting payed per post.

In the past, the amount of money you got per post was fairly low, but now experienced posters have a huge opportunity to make A LOT of money.

With new advertisers from blog ad network (disclosure is required from all bloggers) offering more opportunity's (ops) a blogger has many category's and topics to choose from. If you want to blog about sports, do so. If you want to blog about new products, do so. Payperpost offers a lot of different types of ops. They are bound to have one you like.

The new segmentation system awards bloggers with high traffic blogs. You could make $1000 for a single sponsored post!

Also...Did you know that PPP only charges a 35% service fee compared to ReviewMe that charges a 100% markup. They are taking half your money for every post! You can get high paying opps more often and put more in your pocket with Payperpost.

Some new additions

Last night, and early morning today I have made a few changes to my blog. Last night I tryed to change the template, but we all see how well that worked. The one I like didnt quite work out.

The newest feature on this blog is the music section. Ive added a few of the songs I like on there, and Im willing to make changes. If anyone wants me to put a song up their they like, I have no problem in finding it on http://imeem.com/ and putting it up on the music section. The best way to get it up here would be to find a song, and send me the URL so I don't have to go hunting for it.

Thanks, and enjoy.

A modest proposal... Will it work?

So A friend came to me on AIM, and was talking to me about things I should talk about on my blog. he mentiond that he had something that I should put up there and discuss, Here is the video he showed me.

After watching the video, I thought to my self "self, could this realy work"

Now, most people would watch this and say to them selfs "this is nasty, who the hell would do this" But take a quick second to think to your self about this. What is the one thing in this world we have alot of, don't need more of, can't do with how many we have, and get angry at people for having.... Yep you have it, babys.

Now this may not be the best solution, but it does have its stance. Its not buyable by todays standards, but who knows. Perhaps one day there will be a market for this kind of thing. Personaly, I beleive there is a another solution.

Take those billions of dollars we spend on bomb, bullets, guns, and war, and redirect that money to something more productive. Keep an eye on this blog, because I will be posting my own view pritty soon when I get the time to get it done.

Bio-engineering, Making pets.

So me and a friend where surfing through the endless pits of the inter web, when we came across this interesting site. These pets, living, breathing, crying, growing, yet packaged in a package much like a toy.

http://www.genpets.com

Genpets is the first creator of Bio-Genetic pets. While in a "hybernetic" state while in packaging, these small pets work just like a real pet, feeling pain, making noise, and even reacting to its environment.

http://www.genpets.com/faq.php

This page explains all you need to know before getting your new genetically engineered pet.

Although these bio-genetic pets are still being developed, and prices are still being arranged.

So about the time you figure out how much these things will cost, and when they will be available, you will come to realise that this is a phony. These bio-genetic pets are a art creation done by a student trying to break the ice of bio-genetic pets.

Hope you enjoyed this site.

4am... So early.

My scheduel for work has been pritty much the same, and im getting into the trend of how things work. I have to be at work by 4:00 am. which Is starting to get alot easyer. The reason I am posting now, is because of this:

I work with a manager somtimes at night when im recoverying, that isn't exactly the smartest person in the world. In recovery you run around each of the isle's and pickup stuff that dosn't belong, and throw it in the cart. Then you run to the baskets up front, and sort eveyrthing out by isles. then once you do that, you take baskets, run around realy fast, and put everything back. The problem comes when my manager says "Hey, I'm not staying past 9:30 (which was when we both got off work). Then after saying this, goes off and grabs another 2 carts full of crap. and brings them back for me to do.

one cart of which was mostly socks. When you are recoverying an isle, and there is stuff in the isle that belongs on THAT isle, then you are supose to pick it up, pleace it back in its spot, then face around it. but when my manager went down the sock isle, instead of putting them back her self, She threw them in a cart for me to handle later.

Neadless to say, we didn't get out of there untill 10:30, and hour after we where schedueled.

Are people so brainless.... Or just lazy?

Today I worked a tough shift, I was scheduled from 5:30PM to 9:30PM. I bet you know whats coming. Your right, I ended up working until freaking 1:30 AM. My normal hours are 4am-8am, and I usually get out at about 9am. But tonight I worked recovery, which by the way folks, its more fun to run through thorn bushes.

As you may all ready know, recovery is the process of filling shopping carts by running around the isles and grabbing things up that don't belong or that have fallen on the ground. Today we filled 4 shopping carts. Then comes the best part, sitting there with 5-10 baskets, and taking everything out and organizing it into piles of like items, such as toys, personal, holiday, electronics, food candy, food non candy, and food canned, etc, etc.

Then of course you have to run around and put it all back.

BUT!! this is not why I am posting tonight. There is something that I thought about while talking to my good friend Devan. I was explaining to him that when I started working at this store, They basically threw me out on the floor without any training or any kind of walk through or any thing of the sort. So basically I knew where NOTHING was, other then general ideas due to our naming system.

The problem with this, is that I being an employee, it is my job to help customers when they need something. So being the good worker I am, I help out the pour lost little shoppers. But what this whole topic is about is those people who come up to me and go "where is your shaving creme" I think to my self "well, Ive haven't seen that here before" thus meaning I have no clue where it is. After a mere 5 seconds of looking down the center of the isles I spot the isle which contains the item.

After leading the customer over to the item, they thank me, and I tell them that if they need anything else to feel free to ask. The reason for the post comes here. How do "I" a new employee, and fairly intelligent person, figure out where an item is without the help of anyone else. Yet when it comes to persons shopping in the store, instead of taking the 10 seconds or so to look around, they spend roughly a minute, if not More, looking for an employee.

Then they just so happens to pick the employee that knows nothing about the item in the store, who just so happens to find the item they couldn't find, in less then 5 seconds. To them I am a trained pro, to me, I used logical elimination.

Store shelf's aren't randomly placed folks, they are organized in such a fashion to make it essayer on everyone. So knowing this, let me ask. I run into roughly 20 people working a normal 4 hour shift. If 10 people see me and ask for and item that I have no clue where its at, yet I find it in under 10 seconds, that makes 1/2 the people who shop at the store I work at incapable of using logical elimination. now that is just ONE item. Say those same people see me again, its all most guaranteed that 1/2 of those 20 that didn't ask me the first time, will ask for the first time, or asking for the second time.

My point is, when it comes down to it 90% of people who go to the store lose the ability to use basic item elimination. Is this because they don't know any better? Are 90% of people who go shopping idiots? Or perhaps are the 10% who go on without the help of employee's the ones that aren't lazy?

Most people figure that people like me are walking through the store, not only to do what I'm there to do, but also to help them. When the fact is, I'm doing recovery, the job that makes running through thorn bushes a vacation. Do you really think I want to stay longer to do what I have to do, because I had to help customers who where unable to do basic elimination?

today I stayed until 1:30AM, That was not very fun, Thus making me think about the whole thing I just ranted on about. So the next time you are shopping in a store, please oh please take a few seconds out of your day to take a look around, instead of instantly walking around to find people who do what I do. Its not hard, just think about groups + breads + wheat's(grouped), candy, soda, chips, fatty foods (grouped) Ifs not that hard folks, Deodorant, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste(grouped)

Its very simple if you take a few seconds to use your brain, so once again, please use it next time.

Thanks.

We are all one... The world is one

If some of you remember the great song written and song by john Lennon, you will remember him saying "the world will be as one ". This is what makes me think about this song.

Not many things in life stop me in my tracks, make me think, or even get my teary eyed, But the other night I saw something that did all those things. This video that I saw not only made me think about all the people in the world, it all most brought me to tears. That may sound a bit corny, Maybe it is, But there is something about this video that just delivers a message. A message that only this video has been able to project to me.

You may think I'm emotional, or that I'm a wimp for being male, and getting watery eyes from a You tube.com video. But Therese something about this video that combines art, compassion, and love. What is amazing about this video, is that there are about a hundred people involved in it. JUST in this video. Yet it displays the message the whole world is looking for.

Not often do you find videos now days, that aren't self centered, Random, and spazmatic or full of stupid high school kids jumping off roofs. So when there is a video, that evolves the whole world, while keeping peace, and showing love toward one another, I think it deserves to be post on every web page on the Internet.

And so after saying that, I leave you with these lyrics, and the video. Stop, think, and imagine. Open your mind, and think peacefully. Be kind, Be Loving, and share the respect that everyone deserves.

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Mtv - Korn and Amy Lee

Freak on a leash, written and sang by Korn them self's. This song is well known, well played, and never gets old. With recent problems amongst korn and loosing members the band has been running slim.

Was this an attempt to tell the world that "Hey, where still around and kicking" or is this a cry for fans.

Personally, I think this was a great idea, and it worked out for the better. Lets just hope Amy Lee doesn't join the band in place of the loss of the other members. Shes doesn't have quite the same sound as Head, nor the same style.

If you'd like to see MTV's live recorded video visit this link and click "watch videos"

Getting a job

OK, So lately Ive been looking around at billions upon billions of jobs, give or take a few billion. Ive come to notice one thing about trying to get a job. Every freaking job you apply for basically wants you to have experience before they will hire you. This leads me to this thought.

How are you going to get experience working, If every job is requiring you to have experience to work.

This makes NO sense whats so ever. I can understand if someone wants you to have some experience for being a manager or something of that sort, But in all honesty does a person who is going to stock shelf's relay need experience?

I think the whole working thing/Getting a job thing is way to complicated, people take it way to serious, and make it so much harder then it needs to be.

Havn't posted in a bit

Well if anyone has noticed I haven't posted anything for a while now. This is because of a crazy thing called a vehicle. No one ever knew this wonderful invention could cause SO MUCH trouble.

I was standing there looking into the opened hood of my brother Competition sky blue 2 door Jetta/GTI. Replacing the basic parts, spark plugs, wires, battery, distributor cap, etc. I realized, With all these plugs wires and every other doodad, Why don't they last longer?

THEN I realized, we are doing all this work to prepare for the future, getting better computers, high tech T.V's stuff of that sort. Why can't we figure out something less complicated like, a better motor? Why for some reason can't we take the things we have now, make them better and last longer.

I'm not against the growth of technology, but I think we should take the time to understand what we have now, and make the performance of it better.

Google Analytics

So if none of you noticed, during the loading stage of this page at the bottom left you will probably see something like "connecting to google.analytics.com" or something of that sort. That is because I have a code in on my page (which you can't see, its just a code that tells some information to my Analytics account).

What does this do for me?

I run two websites, This blog, and my peon server which is affiliated. I am able to go into my account and setup two sites, this one, and peon server. Putting each code in the corresponding websites. When i log in I choose which site I want to check, and by clicking on the name of the site, pulls up a page which shows statistics about the site. How many visits, a pie chart showing where they came from (IE. Google.com, your site.com my site.com) each having their own peace of pie showing %'s.

This is a great thing to have when you are trying to figure out how many hits you get per day and so on.

If you own a website, or even multiple websites, I highly recommend this tool for you. Its great and causes practically no lag in your website.

Rome: Total War

What is Rome: Total War?

Rome: Total War is a RTS (real time strategy) which is taken to the next step. Setup like a board game, you build up your army, control and build city's, and create and destroy allies.

Where the real fun comes in, is when it's time to battle. you can take the easy way out by clicking the "Automatically resolve battle" Which jumps through the battle doing all the work for you. Or my personal favorite, is fighting the battle your self.

When you get into the start of the battle, your leader gives your troops a small pep talk, getting them riled up and ready to fight. The higher your leaders skill, the more energy they get, and the better they will fight. Once you listen to his pep talk (or after skipping the cut scene) you can choose to wait(for conditions to get better) or setup your army into a different formation. After your done with that, click the start button will hop you into battle. From there, what happens on the battle field is determined by you.

Game modes

There are a couple of game modes you can play on. After doing the tutorial you can choose from a few game modes. Your can start your campaign to take over all the land of Rome. Play a Historical battle, where you are playing a pre-arraigned battle based on historical battles. Or you can play Custom Battle. Which allows you to setup the battle field, The number of units, number of upgrades, Etc.

Whats with these movies?

A Scanner Darkly

This movie was actually not a bad movie. It was done using cel shading, and is actually not that bad of an idea when it comes to trying out new things. They used the cel shading to there advantage too, Which was amazing how they did it.

What do I think?

If this was the directors first movie, then I would give him HUGE props. but at this point, It's not. Overall this movie would be considered NOT that good. With a loose storyline and a lack of details on whats going on it makes for a stretched out tweaker movie. I know this is suppose to be one of those "sci-fi Mystery" time movies, but it does lack in quite a bit.

What would I rate it?

Personally I'd rate this movie at about a 6 out of 10. but only because they used the cel shading to achieve AWESOME effects. Hopefully this director will put out another movie using the same techniques, but with a little better story line. Hopefully next time he will choose a better main character too. I mean come on, he was good in the matrix, but I can't take him seriously anymore.

Wrap it up

It was an ok movie, Id probably watch it again, but only because id pay more detail and try and figure out a few things that to me they left out. If you want to watch a movie that is different, then id choose this one.

A Follow Up On My Last Post

You Forgot Mac!?

So I forgot to add The Operating System made by Macintosh aka apple. I didn't do that on purpose. It's just so rare to sea a mac around here, so it mearly slipped my mind. Ill go straight into this.

Macs are only good for a couple things, Artsy program's ,animation (2d and 3d) and as a boat anchor.

The only things that apple has made that are worth the hundreds of pennies you pay for them, are the Ipod (Trademark) and the Intel chip set laptop which we all know people only buy so they can slap Linux on them, maybe even windows (but they will only do that if they play lots of games)

So to make up for my mistake of leaving Mac out, I have collected a few items to make up for it. Please do Enjoy!

Now The Comedy

Gaming platform?...NOT

Rebooting.. One thing Linux never has to do.

And we all know that girlfriends are just like this :) <3...

What os?

Topic suggestion sent in by: Kellobyte

Operating systems, What do I choose? What is better? Which cost more?

It all boils down to personal favor. There are many things you have to look at when choosing what kind of operation system you want to install. This is my attempt at writing a guide to help you choose your flavor of operating system.

Whats out there?

First, lets take a look and make a short list of the obvious and most popular operating systems.

-Window versions-

Windows XP (Yes, the Microsoft product is first, because its still the most used)
Windows Vista (New, Cost way to much, and requires way more computer specs than I care for)
Windows Media Edition (This is what I am currently running on my laptop, Not because I like windows, but the fact is. It's allot easier to run on a laptop.)

-Linux, Unix, and OS alike-

Ubuntu ( This is a great Operating system, To me it is the perfect Linux distro for a first time user to start out with. The easy to use installer prevents a firs time user from drooling in front of a command line.) You can get this OS at: www.ubuntu.com

Gentoo (If your a person who likes to build things from the ground up, to your own specs. Then this OS is perfect for you. You can build you way up from the basic install. Which gives you nothing but a shell, and a built in program to download software directly into the OS with a simple command. Much like the apt get from Debian, Gentoo has a smooth download repository.) you can get this OS at: www.gentoo.org

This is only two of the Linux flavors, You can find out about all of the rest by visiting http://distrowatch.com/

Speed

When it boils down the the last drop, Windows operating systems get blown away when it comes to speed and performance. Windows just has to much support for EVERYTHING, and by doing that slows the performance, and lowers its score in the speed game.

Linux on the other hand calls for a little more skill when install and setting up for your hardware. Although it has great support, that at times can be far better then Windows Os's it usually lacks when it comes the the installation of drivers. With Linux not having very much built in diver support. It opens the CPU up to do more vital things, Like running your favorite MMORPG.

Cost

Windows operating system usually round out at around 100 dollars. But can go even higher when it comes the Pro edition, Or even server edition.

Linux is far more cheaper when it comes to the Operating system. All Linux distro's come free with the download of the .ISO image off the Internet. In some cases like when it comes to Red Hat Enterprise Edition, they will not charge you for the OS its self, But will charge you when it comes to getting Support.
